Walking around the USTDC and HSA Compounds in Taipei

Did another walk around the area yesterday.  If you remember the old US Taiwan Defense Command building and the Headquarters Support Command (HSA) East Compound, you'll get to see what it looks like today.

The video in 1080 HD, you should check what the quality is when the video begins, I had to change mine when it began to 1080 HD.

Something in Taipei you'd like to see again, please write and we can talk about it.

Really enjoyed your video and commentary. Thanks! The camera was very steady with all that walking. What kind is it?

Sony DSC RX-100. I've had the lens motor that pushes out and brings in the lens, broken twice. I decided it wasn't worth fixing the second time and will purchase a new camera soon. I may try to us my iPhone, using the iPhone ear buds as my microphone. It seems to work well. If you just use the iPhone microphone, all of the noise in front of the camera overwhelms my voice. Your question about steady......When you upload your film to You Tube, they recognize that you are moving and the video is shaky. You Tube asks if you would like for them to steady your film, I always say yes. They run the film through their computers, then automatically replace the old film with the steady film. It's not perfect, but it's a lot easier to watch.

Really enjoyed your video. I made a trip to Taipei in 2005 but was not able to relate much to how it was in 74-76 when I was there at HSA PMO. Your comments and description really helped put it back into perspective. Thanks,
